Willow: Skämtar du? Ser du matcherna? Han är urdominant. Han hade kunnat göra mer poäng om inte medspelarna varit en, två, tre och fyra klasser sämre än honom. Poäng speglar inte alltid hur stort avtryck en spelare gör på isen.
Här är en scoutingrapport från en U20-match, som jag redan delat en gång, där Elton gjorde noll poäng, för att sätta det i kontext:

”Hermansson went pointless in this 1-4 loss but he still looked like a high-end prospect. On his first shift, he arrived in the O-zone late, allowing him to receive a pass at the blue line, move into the slot, and show off his high-end wrist-shot release. When he had the puck on his stick with some space, he showcased elite handling skill, at times holding on to the puck for 10 seconds without anyone able to stop him. On the PP, he moved toward the middle from the left half-wall, threatened to shoot, freezing a shot blocker before beating him with a slick deke, and got a shot off from in close. Going forward, he'll have to make sure he picks his spots to get fancy rather than trying something every time he has the puck, but the fact he has the ability to do it at this level is more important at this stage. His off-puck play was strong too, as he did a great job supporting play, jumping into openings, and working give-and-gos through the neutral zone. He may have failed to get his name on the scoresheet here, but this was the kind of performance that could allow him to sneak into the top 15 of our next board.”
