Doesn't panic under pressure, just takes his time, reads his surroundings, and finds a way out. Great patience and awareness. A good passer who's great at finding openings after he's moved the puck, constantly looking for give-and-go opportunities. Scored the 1-0 goal on a nice one-timer, popping open in the slot after winning the O-zone face-off. He's not the quickest or fastest, but plays with a lot of power. A big centre with elite upside.”

His physical maturity certainly helps, but that's just an added element to a well-rounded, high-level toolkit. Excellent vision and passing skill. Smart with and without the puck. Can make smart plays from the perimeter but also shows strong middle drive, using his edges and hands to get to the middle of the ice. There's no doubt that Sundström is a top prospect for the 2027 NHL Draft, and we should see him at the pro level starting next season.”
