"John Ferguson, general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Tuesday that the club has signed forward Alexander Steen and defenceman Staffan Kronwall (pronounced Kron-VALL) to multi-year entry level contracts.

In keeping with club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed."
