"As of 5:00 p.m. on June 26, the following players become Group II (restricted) free agents, with the Bruins having the right to match any offer made by another team or due draft pick compensation should the team decide not to match an offer: Andrew Alberts, Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes, Nick Boynton, Milan Jurcina, Nathan Robinson, Martin Samuelsson, Jordan Sigalet and David Tanabe. A qualifying offer had also been sent to Andrew Raycroft prior to his June 24 trade to Toronto.
Brian Eklund, Ivan Huml, Josh Langfeld and Pat Leahy were not tendered qualifying offers and will become unrestricted free agents able to sign with any team as of July 1."
