Had to stop by and say a word about Mikko Lehtonen. You signed an awesome player. He has been best D in Finland two latest years he have played. Lehtonen is the biggest lost for Kärpät when comparing players who left Kärpät. Great allround D's doesn't grow in trees, unleast not as good as Lehtonen. He is strong and solid in own end plus his offensive skills with his awesome shot is something that makes him one of the better D's who plays in Europe.
But one warning for you Timrå fans. If Mikko doesn't impress you at the beginning of the season, don't throw your axe's to sea. Mikko is a player who doesn't always play with 100% in autumn. But when the spring comes and real games starts Mikko is a guy who you lean on and who raises his game most.
But guys would you stop stealing our guys? Lotvonen, Pyörälä, Tenkrat, Lehtonen, did I forgot someone? Perhaps Pesonen is next one? :) Lehtonen actually said in finnish newspaper that former Kärpät player were in big role when he chose Timrå. Anyway, good guys you have "robbed" from my hometown team, Pyörälä, Tenkrat and Lehtonen have been in a big role in Kärpät's succes in recent years (4 golds in last five years).
